INTRODUCTION
Advanced Rescue by DIMERSAR delivers professional, safe, and court-defensible training to emergency services, military, search and rescue teams, government agencies, educational institutions, private industry, and NGOs.
Safety First! Every course is delivered with a high-reliability, safety-first philosophy grounded in decades of operational experience.
Advanced Rescue by DIMERSAR provides professional, high-reliability training for emergency services, military, search and rescue, government agencies, private industries, and educational institutions.
Every program we deliver is built on proven, court-defensible training methodology, rigorous safety assurance, and internationally recognised industry standards.
Our standards exceed common expectations because our clients operate in high-risk, high-consequence environments where quality matters. From NFPA-aligned programs to bespoke technical rescue training, every course is supported by documented risk management, redundancy-based safety systems, qualified instructors, controlled instructor-to-student ratios, and full medical readiness on site.
We also provide unique value-added services — including expert-witness support, evidence-based documentation, and organisational alignment with your local AHJ policies and SOPs — ensuring that your training is not only effective but defensible, auditable, and professionally delivered.
This page outlines the standards that underpin every course we teach and every operational partner we support.
We stand behind our methods. VIP clients receive complimentary and discounted expert-witness support if their organization faces litigation linked to the training we provided.
This includes initial case review, the development of defensible arguments, and first-appearance representation. Our Forensic Expert Witnesses can provide ongoing expert-witness services which is available at preferred client rates.
Courses may require additional medical cover. Virtually every course provides medical kit and equipment with assigned trained staff .
Any appropriate medical equipment and instructors will be provided and will be trained in its use. Immediate medical response capability is always present.
Where required, courses are delivered to established industry standards such as NFPA, IMS/ICS, or other recognised regulatory frameworks, like Section 21 in Ontario.
Even where training is customized, we incorporate relevant NFPA or industry standards to ensure consistent, modern, professional instruction.
This means NFPA training standards, qualification standards and Technical Rescue equipment standards, etc. (For example NFPA 1670. NFPA 1006, NFPA 2500 - G, T rated equipment etc.) as well as other standards.
Our training design uses multi-layered safety controls, built-in redundancies, and industry-accepted best practices. These systems are not only proven in real operations but are fully court-defensible when applied as taught.
We work directly with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to align training with your existing Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs), SOPs, provincial requirements, or organizational policies.
Our instructors include recognized operational and training experts. Specialist skills, techniques, and knowledge are passed to candidates to strengthen real-world capability.
We are widely known for a meticulous and disciplined training approach:
Standard maximum instructor-to-student ratio: 1:6 for technical rescue
Often increased instructor coverage (e.g., 1:2 in small or highly technical classes)
Continuous environmental and hazard assessments
Daily dynamic risk assessments and TAP documentation / Safety Plans
Use of RIT (Rapid Intervention Teams) where appropriate
Mandatory waivers and strict PPE compliance
Insurance, WSIB documentation, and duty-of-care applied on every course
Our principal instructors maintain situational oversight at all times.
Training activities are adjusted immediately if environmental or operational conditions change.
